Izmir & the North Aegean

Where Families Can Have the Best Time in Turkey: Izmir and the North Aegean
Are you looking for recommendations for family-friendly spots to stay in Turkey? I can tell you the solution! Our recommended destinations are Izmir and the North Aegean. Nearly three million people call the Izmir province home, making Izmir the third most populated city in Turkey.

A few of Izmir’s most famous landmarks are the Agora Open Air Museum, the Kemeralti Bazaar, the Asansor Tower, and the clock tower. Also, the Izmir Bird Paradise is a great place for families to take their children. Countless species of stunning birds call this 80-square-kilometer reserve home. The Sasali Park of Natural Life, a large outdoor zoo, is also located in the same neighborhood. Drop by for a delightful family outing!

Izmir and the North Aegean region are home to several fascinating landmarks.
Izmir isn’t the only place you should visit along the North Aegean Coast. Definitely don’t miss visiting the city of Cesme with its beautiful 14th century castle or the old town of Assos where you can see Greece from a rocky outcrop! Altinkum is the perfect place to take the kids if you’re looking for a quiet beach.

Best Places to Stay in Izmir & the North Aegean
While Turkey’s North Aegean coast is home to several excellent hotels, Altinkum, with its picture-perfect sandy beaches, offers the finest selection of Turkish accommodations. But if you want to avoid the beaches and focus on the culture, Izmir is the place to stay

Best Places to Stay in Cappadocia

Goreme is the most visited town in Cappadocia. Good vibes abound, there are plenty of dining options, and the nightlife is on point! There’s a settlement situated amid the fairy chimneys, too. Also, many people use this location to launch their hot air balloons. Think about lodging in Ortahisar or Uchisar if you like a more secluded area.

Bodrum – Where to Stay in Turkey on a Budget

Located on Turkey’s shoreline in the Mediterranean Sea, Bodrum is famous for its pristine seas, plenty of beach activities, and even an underwater museum dedicated to antiquities.

Bodrum is the place to go if you’re trying to find out how to remain in Turkey without emptying your savings. Plenty of cheap hotels, inns, and Airbnbs are available. Actually, Bodrum is home to some of Turkey’s most reasonably priced hotels!

Turkey accommodations
What about a day out on the lake?
Furthermore, you have the option to forego spending any money at all by just lounging on the beach all day. No entry fee is required unless you so choose. But if you’re up for seeing some sights, I suggest the Bodrum Amphitheatre or St. Peter’s Castle.

Do you wish I could tell you about some free activities? What about taking a stroll through Gumusluk’s cobblestone streets or visiting Bradski Cove? Another option is to just wander beneath the palm trees as you go around the Palmaria.

Do not be alarmed; Bodrum is quite secure. As long as you follow standard safety procedures, it poses no threat.

The Top Hotels in Bodrum
Bodrum Town, often called Downtown Bodrum, is the place to go if you want to be in the middle of everything. Staying in Bitz, just outside of the downtown area, will allow you to save a big coin. It’s not too far, so you can easily stroll to all the great restaurants and cafés.

Kas, nestled on the Mediterranean coast, is a charming little beach town. Antiphellos was an old metropolis, and now it’s only a fishing town with a rich history. The magnificent Lion Tomb, which goes back to the 4th century BC, is one of the many amazing remains that tourists may still explore.

Best Places to Stay in Kas

Remember to bring along your trusty sunblock!
Kaputas beach, hidden in a mountain cove, is a must-see. This beach is among my all-time favorites. At the point where saltwater and freshwater combine, the water takes on a strikingly unusual hue. Kas is not complete without some scuba diving or snorkeling. Underneath the azure sea, you will have the opportunity to explore sunken ships and even an airplane.

What else makes Kas the most exciting Turkish city to visit? Exciting paragliding adventure! Paragliding in Kas is the perfect activity for anyone seeking an extreme rush of excitement.

An idyllic vacation spot, Bodrum is a picturesque seaside town. It’s a great spot to stay in Turkey if you want to relax in the sun without breaking the bank! Do you fancy a day at the beach? Journey to Bodrum.

Bodrum

Yahsi recommends lounging on Bodrum’s beautiful sand beaches or diving in with a snorkel to see the vibrant marine life. Alternately, you might visit Gumbet Beach and engage in some water activities or hire a jet ski.

Bodrum is the place to go if you want to have a beach party! From Reef Beach Bar to the White House Bar and the Mandalin, there are several top-notch watering holes along the coast. There is no shortage of choices, spanning from understated and sophisticated to edgy and riotous!

Definitely, surely, without a shadow of a doubt—stay near the beach if you’re planning a beach holiday to Bodrum in Turkey and are searching for a place to stay!
